Rich and Vicky, organisers of the Hi-Ex comics convention in Inverness (the second of which falls on the Valentine’s weekend next month), tell us that they have posted up details of some of the generous contributions they’ve received for the charity auction, including signed works by Leah Moore and John Reppion, a signed (and sketched) Walking Dead hardback by Charlie Adlard (and also a page of original art by Charlie), pages of 2000 AD’s Lowlife from Simon Coleby and Rob Williams and Graeme Neil Reid’s Bash Street Kids drawing for the Beano’s 70th birthday among a number of other comics and gaming related goodies (with more likely to be added in the next few weeks). The proceeds of the auction (and the weekend raffle) will all be going to the charity Children 1st; if you can’t make it to Inverness you can contact the organisers to arrange remote bidding, so there’s no excuse!
