Canada’s Walrus magazine features this magnificent Joost Swarte cover for their summer reading issue and there’s a feature on the artist over on the Walrus site here. It’s an image I can identify with; packing to go away is easy – until it gets to the difficult decision of what to take away with me to read. Invariably I can’t decide and end up filling another bag with far more books than I could ever read. Summer reading; always a pleasure. Especially when illustrated so beautifully by such a classy artist.
