The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF) has been tirelessly fighting censorship and defending the first amendment rights of comic book professionals in the United States for the last 23 years. And the latest CBLDF benefit book is really shaping up to be something of a special event.

Liberty Comics #2 features a lead-off strip by Neil Gaiman & Jim Lee and other contributors include: Painkiller Jane by Jimmy Palmiotti and Jim Rugg; a new Mr. Gum adventure from Mike Allred and Jamie S. Rich; The Apocalipstix by Ray Fawkes and Cameron Stewart; a return to Channel Zero by Brian Wood; a preview of Choker by Ben McCool and Ben Templesmith; a special Martha Washington piece by Dave Gibbons and all new and exclusive works from Paul Pope, Gail Simone and Joelle Jones; Kathryn and Stuart Immonen; Chynna Clugston; and Jason Aaron & Moritat.
All proceeds from Liberty Comics will benefit the First Amendment legal work of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
