Art and animation

Gorillaz and former Tank Girl co-creator Jamie Hewlett has painted a series of nine watercolour works to raise awareness of the dangers of climate change for the charity Oxfam following a trip to Bangladesh (a country sadly no stranger to terrible storms and floods and now fully expecting those to become worse due to climate change according to recent reports). According to the BBC site the charity is currently looking for a venue in Bristol to exhibit the paintings in, so if you are in the arts in the Bristol area give Oxfam a shout; I’m sure both the subject and the artist would be sure to bring in visitors and you’d be doing some good at the same time.
