Heidi at the Beat caught this: A series of promotional comics from Adidas featuring some of the world’s best footballers. Well, actually it’s just Steven Gerrard and Zidane who count as world’s best, Kaka & Adebayor just make up the numbers really. But they’re Adidas men so get to be in their own comic.
It’s some mythical quest undertaken by Zidane to find and recruit the best in the world. And it is, of course, utter twaddle. But very pretty twaddle, featuring art by Jae Lee (Adebayor), JG Jones (Steven Gerard) and Ryan Benjamin (Kaka).
