Regular readers will know that Garen Ewing’s brilliant Rainbow Orchid has been one of our serious favourites for some time and we were all delighted here when he announced he had a book deal. The series has been available for quite a long time to enjoy online, but with the print version coming from Egmont this August Garen will be changing that soon – he’s going to leave it all online until the end of the coming weekend’s May bank holiday, after which “the online strip will become a preview, with certain sections removed and the full story available in print only.” Which seems fair enough, really. And I suspect even those of us who have enjoyed reading RO fully online will be pretty eager for the print version anyway – its a different experience, reading them in print and I’m looking forward to it enormously; you can read an interview Matt Badham conducted with Garen here on the blog.
