The London Movie Comics Media Expo hits the city this coming bank holiday weekend (23rd to 24th May), Sean Azzopardi reminds us, and as well as a pile of guests from the worlds of TV and movie science fiction and fantasy (including some of the cast from the BBC’s Merlin, Eureka and Terminator’s Linda Hamilton) the Comics Village component of the Expo continues to grow. In addition to the aforementioned Sean Azzopardi who will be sharing a table with Daniel Merlin Goodbrey there’s a cracking list of comics scribes and artists from both the professional and the small press scene who are down to attend, including Nick Abadzis, Paul Duffield, Marc Ellerby, Kieron Gillen, Gary Northfield, Tony Lee, Frazer Irving, Jamie McKelvie, Asia Alfasi, Emma Vieceli, Sarah McIntyre, Lew Stringer, the Modern Monstrosity gang, Gary Erskine, Ilya and many more, with Warren Ellis on the throne and attended by scantily clad demon women as the special guest; sounds like a great bash.
