Lew Stringer pays tribute to artist Malcolm Douglas, who passed away at the far too young age of 54 after a battle with cancer. Malcolm worked on many strips and cartoons, most notably in Oink, where his accomplished style, Lew notes, was considered above the standard new, struggling creators were crafting, raising the visual bar for them. I won’t attempt to say anymore here but rather direct you to Lew’s thoughtful tribute and also a typically informative piece by Steve Holland on Bear Alley. (thanks to Matt B for the link)
