America, prepare for Malcy Duff! Malcy tells me he’s heading Stateside and will be doing a couple of gigs later this month where he will: “be appearing in Boston and Providence, USA, at the end of this month performing readings from a selection of his comix. The film MALCY’S HORSES, will (hopefully) be screening at these events also. The dates are Boston, MA, Weirdo Records, 25th May at 8pm and Providence, RI, Building 16, 29th May also at 8pm.”
It looks like a busy spring and summer for Malcy – there’s a new comic, The First Dog, coming in July, The Heroic Mosh of Mary’s Son will be a part of the Metal Mouth Show exhibition (24-26 Torpichen Street, near Haymarket) in a show which opens on June 26th for two weeks (Malcy promises more details soon), he’s created sleeve artwork for a 12″ record from Hockyfrilla and Usurper (which also comes with a 4-page comic) and there are four new Giant Tank releases which all feature Malcy art as well as a Malcy story in the New British Comics Anthology (simultaneously published in English and Polish – more on that later); for more details check the Missing Twin site.
