Checking Twitter last night I came across something rather cool I hadn’t seen before – Molly Crabapple tweeted that she was working on a Neil Gaiman poem poster and that we were all invited along to watch and keep her company while she worked. I’ve seen (and blogged about) various artists who have filmed themselves working and then posting them results up on YouTube, but this was different – Molly was using a streaming service called Ustream so we could actually watch her working live and interact in real time via a chat window. What a very cool idea! From the log below the video window it looks like Molly’s done this several times, so I’d guess the best thing to do to catch any future live drawing sessions on the web is to make sure you’re following her Twitter stream here. Gotta love the web!
