Well that’s just your opinion, Gene. Having been a keen reader of Neil’s work for the last couple of decades and having dealt with him personally on several occasions I’d totally disagree with you and obviously so would an awful lot of other readers. I still admire his storytelling craft – not just his tales but the way he carefully puts them together and in person have always found him a pleasure to talk to.
