Comics and cartoons

It’s Christmas you know. Which means a chance for comic folk to enter into the spirit of things.

First up we have Neill Cameron’s Advent Santas. Last year Neill posted as many different Santas as he could think of on his blog. This year, building on the ideas of his A-Z of Awesomeness and the instant communication of Twitter, he’s doing another reader suggestion thing, with Santas 2009. So fa, we have Pirate Santa, Dark Knight Santa and my favourite; Full of Existential Dread Kitten Santa

Next up, is Howard Hardiman, the man behind Badger, has decided that the way to celebrate christmas is with a bunch of friends. Or alternatively, coerce a group of people to contribute material for his Badger webcomic. Some great stuff in the last couple of days, not all comics, but all interesting. However, I really liked this piece from Timothy Winchester:
