Books, Interviews

One of the UK’s best exponents of huge-scale space opera science fiction, Peter F Hamilton, answers questions sent in by readers as the paperback edition of the second of his massive Void trilogy series, The Temporal Void, hits the shelves. In typical Peter style it is an enormous book and yet still skips by at a cracking pace and remains engrossing throughout; how he maintains a great pace and absorbing tale over such a length I don’t know, but he does it pretty much every time (and it brings me back to his books every time a new one comes along. Its hell on the wrists holding the books up though! The third part, according to the video interview, should be published later in 2010.
