Guy Ritchie directing, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law starring in an all action romp? I can see this new Sherlock Holmes film creating a little bit of an uproar amongst purists. But to be honest, it looks like it might also prove to be an enormous amount of fun as well. We shall see.

With the dark shades and the ass-kicking, he’s more like Will Thomas’ Victorian sleuth Cyrus Barker than Holmes.

I’m definitely with Lew on this, it’s just looking so maniacally daft that it’s going to be worth seeing for that alone.
