Variety reports that Spaced, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz stars Nick Frost and Simon Pegg have joined the cast of the Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg Tintin flick, with the duo down to create a performance-capture interpretation of the detectives Thompson and Thomson, joining Andy Serkis who will play Captain Haddock. The eponymous lead role for the bequiffied Tintin is once again up for grabs as the previously announced actor, Thomas Sangster, is apparently out of the production due to the production delays we blogged about a while back.
