In an unusual move UK viewers (at least the ones with access to Sky) will get to see a brand new Simpsons episode before it airs in the US, with a special Saint Patrick’s Day episode entitled In the Name of the Grandfather (think about it) going out tonight. The episode sees the Simpsons heading to Ireland and buying their own pub, only to find the licensed trade isn’t what it was since the smoking ban. Will it be as funny (and insulting, but we forgive them) as the Family Guy episode where Peter traces his biological father to the town drunk in an Irish village? (via the BBC)
