TrekMovie offers up a report (is it real or a well done spoof, hard to tell sometimes) of a more unusual piece of merchandising to go with Star Trek – perfumes and colognes. Yes, dab on a touch of ‘Tiberius’ and you too can smell like a famous Starfleet captain! Imagine the green-skinned Orion slave girls falling at your feet! More effective than a whole gallon of Hi-Karate, Brut and Old Spice mixed together!! There’s ‘Tiberius’, ‘Red Shirt’ and for female fans ‘Pon Farr’. Personally I think they missed an obvious trick – they should have had ‘Eau de Klingon’, pour homme, pour femme… (thanks to my friend Bobby for the link)
