The BBC site has an article and video report with advice for artists who would like to go on to work in the area of special effects for film and television, with the video following a student in the final phases of her degree, looking at her work and also at what she needs to try to get her break with a company working with effects, as well as some practical hints from Liberty Films’ visual effects supervisor Gavin Rothery to help students try and get that first foot on the rung of an effects career.
