Comics and cartoons, General

Sky News reports that a young, special needs pupil was saved by none other than Spider-Man. Well, actually a Thai fire-fighter called Somchai Yoosabai in a Spidey costume which handily he had in the fire station. When called to try and get an eleven year old autistic boy back in from a dangerous spot on school balcony (where he had gone after being upset at his first day at a new school), the boy wouldn’t be coaxed by staff or firefighters, so Yoosabai had a brainwave, dashed back to his station and changed into his Spider-Man costume, before returning as the Marvel superhero to successfully bring the little chap in safely, not to mention with a smile on his face. Isn’t it nice to know that sometimes, just sometimes, our superheroes can be real?
