Patrick Stewart, Levar Burton, Gates McFadden, Michael Dorn, Wil Wheaton, Denise Crosby, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner and Jonathan Frakes will all be lending their voices to an upcoming episode of the brilliant animated series Family Guy (a solid fave around here) , Not All Dogs Go To Heaven, which sees the Star Trek: the Next Generation crew attending Quahog’s annual Star Trek convention. From the official description: “Stewie blows a fuse when he doesn’t get a chance to ask his favorite Star Trek: The Next Generation cast members any questions. He devises a plan, builds a transporter and beams the entire cast to his bedroom so they can spend a fun-filled day together in Quahog.”

The episode is expected to air in the US on Fox at the end of March and in further good news the FG team are following up the excellent Star Wars: a New Hope parody/homage Blue Harvest with another Star Wars episode, this time riffing on The Empire Strikes Back for the new season while plans are underway for a Return of the Jedi episode further down the line. I love this idea. Blue Harvest had me in bits, i couldn’t stop laughing the whole way through! A Trek episode with all the original cast will be amazing. Love the fact they even managed to get Denise Crosby envolved too. Can’t wait for the new Star Wars family guy special that will be amazing!
