Streets of San Diablo returns to Activate

General

Darryl Cunningham announces on his Twitter that The Streets of San Diablo will be returning to my favourite webcomix collective, Activate, re-starting with a four-page special in which we can “expect much violence”. Good news indeed and another reason why you should have bookmarked the Activate site if you haven’t already, because it is choc-full of comics goodness of all varieties from a diverse array of creators. There’s also an Activate Primer collection recently published, while Darryl’s Psychiatric Tales, which we’ve mentioned on here a lot, will be coming out in a book of its own early next year from Blank Slate; you can still read the precursor to San Diablo, Darryl’s Super-Sam and John-of-the-Night on our archive on the FP site here. My only problem with the new series is that I’ve now got the theme tune for The Streets of San Francisco stuck in my head each time I read it; damn you, Cunningham! (via Simon Fraser’s Twitter)
