With the opening of the Watchmen movie only days away director Zack Snyder has been putting together the building blocks of his next film project, Sucker Punch. The film, a dark fantasy, would have an all-female main cast, with Amanda Seyfried (recently seen in the insanely popular Mamma Mia) currently talking to the producers about the lead role, Babydoll, a young girl committed to a mental institution in the 1950s by her stepfather who plans to have her lobotmised in five days. While trapped she creates an alternative, fantasy world where she needs to locate five special objects to escape before she is deflowered by an evil man; Snyder describes the project as “Alice in Wonderland with machine guns.” Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Evan Rachel Wood and Emma Stone are all also being approached to play the other female leads.
