Sweatdrop’s mini comics of cuteness…..

Comics and cartoons, Propaganda, Reviews

Along with the Manga that Sweatdrop sent me, they kindly threw in a few of their incredibly cute mini-comics. I could pretend that they were for Molly, but that would be a half truth at best…..

Carlos & Sakura # 1 & 2

by Joanna Zhou

The everyday mishaps of a grumpy hedgehog and a carefree bunny.

Two lovely little issues of simple, sweet, relatively child-friendly stuff. All set to a familiar sitcom background. Fun and light and incredibly cute. Who could ask for more?

But there’s also some laugh out loud funny stuff in here as well. Like the panel underneath. When Sakura the Rabbit asks about having a few relatives over for a party you know exactly where the joke is headed, but you can’t help but snicker.

Or how about this for a panel, there’s just something inherently funny about the Mole and the hedgehog trying to out poker-face each other. Or at least I thought so.

Squishy-chan’s Adventure

by Laura Watton

A small pet octopus disappears down the plughole. A mini-adventure takes place. Not as funny as Carlos and Sakura but somehow manages to be even more adorably cute. One look at the page underneath should tell you that. Quick but fun. And of course there’s a happy ending.

As always; Sweatdrop comics and books are available via the Sweatdrop website and from shows.
