Chris Butcher of Tornto’s famous The Beguiling comics store and organiser of the Toronto Comics Arts Festival looks back at this year’s TCAF earlier in May which I’m pleased to read went extremely well, with attendance double the previous show’s in 2007, a damned impressive result and a pretty darned good vindication of the work of Chris and the others who put the show together and the variety of world artists and writers it draws in. In fact its all gone so well Chris has announced that the next TCAF won’t be in the usual two years time but next May. Yep, TCAF is going annual and I’m sure that’s going to be a huge delight to many fans and creators like.
