The excellent Ben Templesmith has some of his original Doctor Who art up for sale on Ebay, with the proceeds going to a worthy cause – the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. The art if from the Doctor Who Whispering Gallery one-shot Ben did with Leah Moore and John Reppion. I love Ben’s (mostly) horror comics art I’ve come across so far and I’d love to read the new Doctor Who comics from IDW (which we’ve mentioned here several times before, rather longingly) but the BBC’c copyright issues mean that we here in the home of Who can’t see the comics that readers in America, Canada and elsewhere can. Well, space pants – come one Beeb, sort it out, the homebase of fans want to read these comics. (link via John Reppion’s Twitter)
