Den of Geek notes that the latest Doctor Who Magazine announces that David Tennant will be appearing in the popular younger viewer’s Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures. Russell T Davies commented that Tennant’s appearance was “more than just a cameo from the Tenth Doctor! He’s a proper part of the story.” Given that the wonderful Liz Sladen made her triumphant return to the world of Who in a Tennant episode (which could have simply been gushing nostalgia for us older viewers but actually packed a good emotional punch) its nice that she gets to team up with him again before he regenerates. Over on the BBC site there’s more on Tennant’s Sarah Jane appearance (in a two-part story, which will go out in the next SJA series in September) and a short video clip with Davies talking about it all.
