That man Pádraig strikes again with this piece of commissioned art from Rick Veitch; from Rick’s own blog: “Another fun commission; this one based on a little detail from the faux-newspaper section in the back of Greyshirt: Indigo Sunset. In issue #5 of the mini-series, there was a report from the “annual semi-secret Science Hero Awards” in which many of the ABC regulars strutted their stuff, hoping to win a coveted ‘Alan Award’”. Pádraig asked Rick to create this image of an actual Alan awards statuette and this was the result; wouldn’t it be cool if graven images of Alan Moore were actually given out as real awards in the comics world?

…I’d hope for at least an “honourable mention for services to getting Alan on the radio”…
