The BBC has had to apologise (an act which appears to be becoming a regular occurrence for them) for mistakenly playing a clip of Batman star Christian Bale swearing like an old sailor when something goes wrong on the set for Terminator Salvation. The BBC Breakfast programme thought they had the edited and bleeped version of Bale’s tirade but this proved not to be the case. According to the BBC site Bale clocked up 35 instances of the F word in a little over 4 minutes, a record previously unique to celeb chef Gordon Ramsay… Sony Pictures, Bale and Bale’s agent have all refused to comment, which is a shame because it would be so much funnier if they had simply replied “f**k off and get some real news.”
Update: Bale has apparently phoned a radio station in the US to apologise for his f**k-laden outburst.
