You might remember last week Gerry Alanguilan pointed us in the direction of an upcoming book by Doctor John A Lent, The First One Hundred Years of Philippine Komiks and Cartoons, which launches at the PICCA Festival in the Philippines next month; well now (again via Gerry) here’s a link to a preview of some of the book, from early work (the image below includes art from famous illustrators of the 50s and early 60s) to more modern work created for the US comics market today.
