Several of us here were quite excited when IDW announced that Darwyn Cooke was adapting Richard Parker’s The Hunter, a landmark in Noir fiction, to the graphical medium. Over on Comics Reporter Tom Spurgeon has, I’m happy to see, returned to his excellent Sunday Interviews, and for this return he’s talking about The Hunter with Cooke and also another creator who is no stranger to the influence of Noir and Pulp, Ed Brubaker; go and check it out. I’m with Tom, I think this is going to be a graphic novel to grab when it comes out.
