Boing Boing points us in the direction of this unusual video – it’s the vocal chords of the late, great Mel Blanc, one of my all time heroes, the man of a thousand voices who gave speech to some of the greatest animated cartoon characters of all time; here are Mel’s vokes as goes through some of those brilliant voices such as Pepe le Pew, Barney Rubble, Yosemite Sam (“whhooaaah, varmint!”), Sylvester the Cat and Bugs Bunny (dear old Bugs, true Hollywood royalty and one of my role models when I was growing up, which probably explains a lot…):
