Comics and cartoons

Paul B Rainey tells us that he’s just published the ninth part of his excellent There’s No Time Like Present series (available from his site). Paul also tells us that he’s been pondering endings and now thinks that the whole TNTLP series will wrap up with part twelve – although he adds that “I have been warned by people more intelligent than me that endings can often take longer than anticipated“, so don’t hold him to that! Not that we’d be complaining if Paul found he had to do another issue or two…

Regular readers will know that Paul’s site traditionally offers up a plethora of other comics delights (I’m still a huge fan of his Book of Lists and the grumpy humour that it often showcases) and he’s continuing that tradition: “I’ve been rolling out previously unseen comic strips and cartoons there every Monday since the start of the year. You can read the complete Goddard & Prisk strip previously serialised on my website by going to this link, while The Doctor Kyle Show continues on the home page for another couple of weeks at least.” So while you wait for your copy of TNTLP to arrive there’s some damned good comics reading online to enjoy. Richard reviewed the first eight issues of TNTLP a few weeks ago and if you haven’t had a look at some of Paul’s other work Richard’s got that covered too.
