Comics and cartoons

100days_titlepage

The 100 Days pledge is simple – promise to do one thing every day for 100 hundred days, starting from 1st December. In what I think may be the first of a brave (and possibly slightly mad) few Tom Humberstone has announced he’s taking part with the promise of a new comic strip every day.

His thoughts behind the project are interesting to read, talking as he does about stretching himself, experimenting and generally getting back into the swing of things. But he does point out the following:

“I should clarify: I’m not totally insane. These comics will not be long, sprawling thirty page opuses. They will rarely span an entire page. These comics will be anything from gag panels, annotated sketches, strip cartoons, or whatever I happen to feel would work that day.”

Since Tom’s How To Date A Girl In Ten Days and his superb 24 hour comic on Crohns were so very good it’s going to be nice to see what he comes up with.
