(panels from Big Sister by Les Forgrave)
Mr ilovecomix, aka Steve Cottle, has created an online archive of vintage newspaper strips which already boasts quite a lot of material to go and browse, from Les Forgrave’s Big Sister from 1928 to 70s and 80s newspaper strips based on popular TV shows and films like Dark Shadows or Star Trek; its a fun browse of classic newspaper comics, although I would like to see additional information on the writers and artists added to the sections perhaps. Thank you for the shout out. I started my site over a year ago and it has grown so big now that I am currently trying to recruit vintage comic collectors to help me with the project. I love vintage comics and i want all of the old stuff to be preserved for future generations to come to love for ever. I also want to eventually add bio info on the strips as well as on the artists. -Steve/ Mr. ilovecomix
