No, fortunately I’m not reporting a homicide, it is, as I’m sure many of you already know, a reference to the new book by Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman, a deliciously macabre offering of post-mortem photography accompanied by stories by Neil. And when not enjoying her hobby as a part-time corpse Amanda’s been known to be persuaded to belt out a few songs. And as Edinburgh girds itself up for the world’s biggest arts event with the Festival in August Amanda tells me that she’s going to be joining the Fringe this year with a gig at the HMV Picture House in Edinburgh on Saturday August 22nd. And as I’ve already mentioned before Neil will be in town for the Edinburgh International Book Festival too. And he’s been known to pick up and shake a mean tambourine from time to time, I wonder if he could be forced on stage too. More good reasons to head to Edinburgh this August. You can keep up with Amanda via her site and her Twitter.
