Stargate Atlantis may have reached its conclusion, but while we wait impatiently for the new Stargate Universe to grace our screens (Robert Carlyle in Stargate!!) this month we can go back and revisit some old friends as the fifth and final season box set of Stargate Atlantis is released on August 10th. This final season sees Richard Woolsey (Voyager’s former holo-doc Robert Picardo) taking command of the SGA team in their exploration of the Pegasus Galaxy and the formidable Wraiths. David Hewlett’s Dr. Rodney McKay, Rachel Luttrell’s Teyla Emmagan, Jason Momoa’s Ronon Dex and Jewel ‘Firefly’ Staite’s Dr. Jennifer Keller are joined by some old SG faves making guest appearances, including the delectable Amanda Tapping (who we’ve also been enjoying in Sanctuary) and the man with the adorable floppy fringe, Michael Shanks.
