Oh yes, Alan Moore as manga schoolgirl. The images are from a new Alan Moore fan-book manga (dojinshi) by Ryusuke Hamamoto. Best bit? Probably the Alan Moore schoolgirl opening her locker and finding Glycon, the Roman hand puppet god that Moore took as his own personal god following his “coming out” as a magician.

This really, really needs to be put out for everyone to see. I imagine Moore’s giggling away to himself right now having seen this. Now if only there was some publication, overseen by Moore himself, that would be perfect to include this.
Oh, hold on….. how about Dodgem Logic. Perfect.
And speaking of Dodgem Logic, there’s a rather good little interview with Moore at the Telegraph online here. Lots of chat about the ideas and principles behind Dodgem Logic:
“I haven’t really got a business plan, and I don’t expect to make a profit on it. A good result for me is to pay all the contributors, and then anything left over we’re going to plough back into the neighbourhood.”
“After that wretched film, Watchmen is now selling everywhere,” he says, “and much as I’m sure it pains them, that means they have to send me huge cheques every three months. I’ve got enough to cover my needs and I’d probably feel guilty if I wasn’t doing something for the area I’ve come from.”
