A quick reminder – the much anticipated second series of the Beeb’s excellent Being Human kicks off this very evening; born out of a series of broadcast pilots that was part of digital channel BBC 3′s welcome opening for fresh talent (which also saw the Hewlitt Phoo Action) the original one-off chimed with many viewers, leading to a web campaign for it to be developed as a series, which it did to much acclaim. Our resident ghost has turned her back on the door to the Afterlife, our sensitive vampire has endured a show-down with his own kind who have dark plans for humanity and our mild mannered George has had to embrace his werewolf side to turn the nasty head vampire into mincemeat. Man but its been great for telefantasy fans recently, hasn’t it? There’s going to be consequencesfor all of them, and I can’t wait to see where series two takes the characters.
