The Etherington Brothers, authors of Monkey Nuts from the DFC (collection due out later in the year) are releasing a rather massive sketchbook deluxe volume of Lorenzo Etherington’s El Sketchbook series, collecting the first 4 volumes and adding another 200 pages of extras. 600 pages for just under £25, pretty lovely.
The sketchbook will be released at Bristol International Comics Expo on 22nd/23rd May.
But Jamie Smart has got his special advance copy already, and bless him, he’s posted lots of preview pages up on his website, including the dedication page sketch that must have taken Lorenzo ages. By all means, when you pick up your copy at Bristol, ask Lorenzo for a quick dedication, but please, please, don’t go expecting this:
