Yes, it is Monday morning again, but here’s something to brighten the start to your working week – this is a cartoon called the Modifyers by Chris Reccardi and Lynne Naylor. BoingBoing notes Chris worked previously on the Powerpuff Girls and Ren and Stimpy while Lynne co-created the delightfully bonkers Ren and Stimpy and was lead designer on the excellent Batman: the Animated Series. Modifyers was made as a pilot for as series and shown to Nickelodeon but for some reason they didn’t bite – not sure why, I think its ace for kids or adults to enjoy and I like that 50s/60s style of animation. Anyway, Chris and Lynne have posted the whole pilot online for folks to enjoy, which is nice of them and let’s hope some TV exec sees it and thinks hey, that would make a great series…
