Latest Paul Pope: “My latest screenprint– a 3 color print for Blues Explosion. Jon Spencer sent me a bunch of hot video clips of Raquel Welch from 1969, which inspired this. The Beguiling in Toronto has a few of these, signed, for sale.”

And whilst we’re mentioning Pope, Alison at Space In Text has a post full of Pope’s work for 100% and more – again, part of a huge Paul Pope art sale at The Beguiling. But yet again, I find myself, whilst loving the work he does, catching sight of a couple of THB pieces and wondering when…. wondering if… it will ever be completed:

Peter Bagge’s Daffy Duck via The Fanta Blog: “This 2003 drawing of Daffy Duck by Peter Bagge hit the internet a couple days ago thanks to Again With the Comics and has been making the rounds… Can you imagine (no pun intended) a Bagge written-and-drawn Looney Tunes? That sounds like just about the greatest thing ever. Hey WB!”

Comics Alliance included Falling In Love in their recent “16 comics we’re probably glad DC didn’t revive” article. But dear God, if they put covers on it like this from 1968 by Ric Estrada (see here), DC could put anything on the inside and I wouldn’t care:
