As many of you will know Glasgow has been hosting the big Brad Pitt-starring movie adaptation of Max Brooks‘ international bestseller World War Z, a fab zombie apocalypse tale (the city’s George Square, right round the corner from our Glasgow store, has been made over to resemble an American city). Great news for our undead, brain-munching friends – Max has kindly taken some time out of his schedule while he is in town to come into our Glasgow store on Buchanan Street (right by the Underground station) to do a signing – he’ll be in the Glasgow shop from 5.30 to 6.30pm on Friday 26th August, so please do come in and take advantage of this rare chance to meet Max (then when the film comes out you can tell all your friends you met the man who wrote the original tale!).
