Moore, O’Neill at old Gosh, Dave McKean at new Gosh!

One of London’s landmark quality comics stores is moving – Gosh Comics is finally leaving their home in Great Russell Street after a quarter of a century to shiny new premises in Soho. The old store will have a cracking send off though, with Messrs Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill signing the new League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Century 1969 book on the 30th of July, plus the very fine Gary Spencer Millidge, who has a new book on Alan Moore just about to hit shelves as well. Then it is off to the bigger, better new premises in 1 Berwick Street, Soho. Soho has cleaned itself up since I first saw it years ago, glad to see this delightfully disreputable crew moving in to bring the tone of the neighbourhood back down again! The new store opens on Saturday 6th of August and to celebrate the brilliant Dave McKean will be there to christen the new store with its first event, which I am sure will be the first of many in the new store. We wish them best of luck with the move and are sure that discerning London comics fans will be making a beeline for the new store as soon as it opens.  For more details check the events part of the Gosh site.
