Comics and cartoons

Further browsing of the interesting Comic Archive’s Vimeo channel shows they’ve posted further segments featuring Chip Kidd (see here for the previous one), including Chip discussing creating original artwork for All Star Superman and Japanese Batman comics, studying graphic design at college (and how comics kept creeping in) and how he first got into comics:

I thoroughly enjoyed these, thanks Joe. Chip Kidd, although somewhat tired sounding here, has such a sharp visual mind. His fictional novel Cheese Monkeys really gives you an insight into how he learned graphic design. And those custom comic art books are outstanding. I wish I could buy all the original art of one comic, yeesh!
