Comics and cartoons

I am so looking forward to Jodorowsky and Moebius’ seminal European science fiction comic The Incal getting a much deserved new English language edition – coming from our friends at SelfMadeHero this autumn. If you haven’t read it, it’s one of those works that belong on the shelves of any serious collector of quality comics works. I’ll take this forum to plead for a new Anglophone edition of THE AIRTIGHT GARAGE please, anybody.

Hopefully SMH will find the Incal a huge success and keep going?

I have mixed feelings about this.
On the one hand I’m pleased for SMH to get the rights for this and will hopefully get it into bookshops for people to see. I hope it does well for them.
On the other hand…. as far as I can see the Humanoids version hasn’t been available in this country. I would have liked to have the choice to buy the American version because I prefer the cover and it was released the end of July, months before the UK edition.
