Just the other week I found this piece by Tom Neely, and included it in the Art for Art’s Sake regular Sunday feature that went up earlier today:

This weekend we’ve spent most of the time up at York Hospital children’s department with Molly all because of Friday’s trampolining lesson at school, a bad front drop and a broken arm.
Being Molly she wasn’t content with simply breaking one bone, she decided to do both radius and ulna in her forearm, with one of them (we never remembered to ask which) needing an operation to put right.
All went well, she’s back home now, sore, achy and tired. But the hospital had a teen room where she managed to get onto Facebook and Twitter, telling folk what she’d done. And I did the same. Thanks to all of you who sent kind wishes, but a special above and beyond the call of duty and huuuge thanks for her massive smile when she saw this from Adam Cadwell:

I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating – comic people; fans, artists, retailers, everyone – a wonderful bunch of people.

You and Molly are very welcome, I’m glad it cheered her up and I’m happy to hear she’s home and recovering.

Get well soon, Molly.
