Comics and cartoons

The third of our previews from Sean Duffield’s anti-war anthology War: The Human Cost, the satirical look at the weapon of choice for despots and revolutionaries alike. The humble AK-47.

An AK-47 Tale.

By Ben Naylor

You can (and you should) buy War: The Human Cost from Sean Duffield at the Paper Tiger Comics webstore. £1 from the price of each book goes to Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT).

But more importantly than this donation, the book may well stir you to action, to find out more. Change is possible. War: The Human Cost shows us the way.

Richard, really finding this a fascinating (and disturbing and moving) series so far and this particular one seems sadly all too appropriate given just the other day the media reported that Islamic revolutionaries in East Africa gave out AK47s as prizes on the radio – to children. Terrifying.
