Comics and cartoons

Now this is just amazing – it is a part of a much bigger work, a mural by the award winning Shaun Tan for the children’s section of the Subiaco Public Library in Perth in the Land Down Under. You know, I was trying to think on something insightful and amazingly cultured to say about this amazing public artwork by Shaun, but I think I am simply going to have to settle for a succinct but heartfelt ‘wow’… Imagine being a kid in the library and seeing this across your wall, wouldn’t that spark off all sorts of wonderful ideas in your young mind? Bigger version can be seen here. (link via Rod McKie who got it from Ben Towle)
