The Sorry Entertainer comics project is about halfway to their target of raising funds. It’s a project to publish a tabloid newspaper style collection of comics strips with a whole bunch of international comics artists involved. From the description:
“We are raising money to print a high quality, tabloid-sized newspaper, chock full with comics by artists from all over the world. These contributions aren’t your usual superhero fare – they’re specially commissioned works of underground, alternative and small-press storytellers, spinning yarns of sad theatre performers, blackmailed entertainers, plane crashes, wrestling matches gone wrong, flatulent stand-ups, persecuted human statutes and of four eyed-wonders – plus a whole lot more besides!”

The guys have just added a sneak look at some of the work that will feature in the Sorry Entertainer, so go and have a look and if you can give them some money towards getting it printed and out there to readers – for a mere fiver you get a copy of the comic, plus a random comic selection from one of the contributors (and there are some good names on there) and your own name in print acknowledging you as a backer of the project, so if you can, lend them some support.
