Good chum of the blog Sean Azzopardi drops us a line to let us know that the very funky We Are Words + Pictures crew are planning a new exhibition and it sounds oh so damned cool: comics inspired by music. Among those with work on display will be Adam Cadwell, John Cei Douglas, Julia Scheele, Jamie McKelvie, Francesca Cassavetti, Marc Ellerby, Kristyna Baczynski, Tom Humberstone and Sean himself; I am informed, however, that this exhibition will not include the many volumes of artwork Sean has drawn over the years as part of his ongoing obsession with Rod, Jane & Freddy. The show kicks off on September 23rd at top Indie music store Flashback Records, 144 Crouch Hill, London, check the WAWAP blog for more.
